Offered For Sale is This Old Rare Classic Evelyn Hamilton Frame. It is in the old original colour retaining the original metal head badge and her name on both sides of the crossbar.It also has nice lugwork. The head badge reads E H Hamilton,Lorraine cycles,Streatham,London SW and the bottom bracket reads CR  23  YES  673,the frame no is 673.Evelyn became the one women publicity machine for lots of household names such as Elimans Embrocation,Ovaltine and cherry blossom shoe polish through her bike riding.She set a womens record of riding a 10,000 miles in 100 days in 1938 and then repeated the feat with 12,000 miles in a 100 days in 1953.She rode professionally for Claud butler on track.She set up her own bike shop just before the war and built frames herself.
